1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ayat Screen, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Ayat Screen is a premium Islamic wallpaper app that provides Qur'an Ayah, Sahih Bukhari Hadith, daily Duas, and prayer-time reminders. The app offers sign-in via Google or anonymous (guest) access.

3. User Accounts & Data We Collect

When you sign in, we create a user profile stored in our secure server database containing:

• Display Name — From your Google account, or "Guest User" for anonymous sign-in
• Email Address — From your Google account, or a placeholder for anonymous accounts
• Last Login Timestamp — To track account activity
• Account ID — To uniquely identify your account

4. User Preferences (On-Device Only)

Your app preferences — including wallpaper automation settings, content type (Quran/Hadith/Dua), language, font choice, display mode, first launch date, and prayer-time coordinates — are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences and are never uploaded to any server.

5. Location Data

If you enable prayer-time features, we request GPS location permission to calculate accurate prayer times. If permission is denied, the app falls back to an IP-based city-level estimate. Location coordinates are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.

6. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use our analytics service to log anonymous usage events (e.g., login method) and our crash reporting service to collect crash reports, which may include your your account ID, device model, OS version, and stack traces. This data is used solely to fix bugs and improve stability.

7. Advertising

Ayat Screen uses Google our ad partner to display ads. our ad partner may collect device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads, governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Device Permissions

Ayat Screen requests the following permissions to function:

• SET_WALLPAPER
  To apply wallpapers to your home/lock screen.
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
  For prayer-time calculation only.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS
  For prayer-time and daily Ayah reminders.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE, WAKE_LOCK, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS
  To run the background wallpaper-update service reliably.
• INTERNET
  For downloading wallpapers, fetching Islamic content, and Server communication.

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in Ayat Screen, including images, text, and graphics, is the property of Ayat Screen or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Ayat Screen is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the application.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
